Need Food Support?
We offer food support once a month by appointment only. Please call our church office at 905-827-4888 to book your appointment. One of our staff members will follow up with you about available options.
Book a Market Appointment
Our Market is located at Hope Bible Church Oakville and is open for in person shopping by appointment. To book your Market appointment please call 905-827-4888. When you come for your appointment, please bring one piece of photo ID and proof of address each time you shop. A reusable grocery bag will be given on your first visit to the Market. Please remember to bring the bag back each visit. Please arrive ten minutes before your Market appointment to check in and we will do our best to serve you as soon as a volunteer is available to shop with you.
Donating items to the Market
Our Market and Boxes of Hope Ministry operate through the generous donations of many donors in our church. We are grateful to those who have committed to supporting our ministry by regularly donating popular food items and providing financial gifts. All donations go to providing families in our community with monthly food support. If you would like to contribute to our Market needs, please see below for details on where you can drop off your donations.
Donations on Sundays can be left in the bin on your way into the service.
During the week, donations can be left in the bin outside the main doors except on statutory holidays. Monday–Friday from 9AM–4PM.

Serving Opportunities in the Market
You can be a part of this ministry by serving in one of the following ways:
• Market Workers assist our guests with shopping, offer prayer and as opportunities arise, share the gospel.
• Market Restocking Team volunteers help process and shelve donations and pack Boxes of Hope.

Join the Shopping Team
We have a huge need in our area for groceries and practical household items. Because this need is ongoing and specific, we have developed a list for our Market Shopping Team. This team of volunteers is emailed regularly with an updated list of needs for our Market. Included in this email is information on when it is most helpful to purchase the needed items and drop them off at the church for the Market.
Volunteers are generous with their time and finances on this team, and we are so grateful for those practically serving our greater community. Volunteers can shop for the needed items at their convenience. Donations can be dropped off on Sundays in the donation bin just inside the main doors or on weekdays from 9AM–4PM in the donation bin outside the main doors.
