What is Missions & Compassion?
When we use the term “Missions,” we generally mean kingdom-advancing work that is done on a global scale. These efforts include church planting, strengthening national churches, pastoral training and encouragement, medical missions, Bible translation, and more. This work is typically carried out by missionaries, church partners, church planters, or short-term teams.
When we use the term “Compassion,” we generally mean ministry that takes place locally. This ministry can include serving the marginalized or homeless, supporting pro-life efforts, disaster relief, refugee care, prison ministry, First Nations support, and more. This work is typically done through our church family and local partners.
