Jordan Sanyoto
As a recent graduate from McMaster University, I’ve been a part of an on-campus ministry called Kingdom Come (KC). Under Power to Change (P2C) Ministries, Kingdom Come has been alive and working in Canadian universities as a Korean cultural strategy of Power to Change whose mission is to be “committed to helping students discover Jesus and mobilize the next generation for the Kingdom of God”.
"And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord" Ezekiel 38:23, NIV
Incoming students have the difficulty of navigating through life as well as self-discovery. As a young adult, having Christ-like relationships and a community to call home is an urgent need that the majority do not have right now. My job will be to reach out to these students to not only preach the good news of Christ but to also be there with them and love them through this volatile season of life. Through discipleship, teaching, large group gatherings, and even prayer meetings, there are many ways for Jesus’ name and teachings to reach the hearts of students.
As an Indonesian-Canadian graduate, I have witnessed the incredible sovereignty of God through this ministry. Christ’s love has been felt among people from all over the world and from different backgrounds through KC in the local campus.
If you would like to hear more about my story and what God is doing on the campus, please contact me jordan.sanyoto@p2c.com. I would love to speak with you.
Let’s reach the campus today, and the world tomorrow!
