The M Family
“1.51 billion people, speaking 6661 languages,
do not have a full Bible in their first language.”
2021 Scripture Access Statistics from Wycliffe Global Alliance
Over a billion people are unable to read God’s Word in their mother tongue. That’s a sobering statistic. Often our homes have more than one copy, maybe even more than one translation, of the Bible, but millions upon millions are living every day of their lives without God’s Word.
But the story doesn’t stop with that statistic.
Men and women are spending their lives translating scripture so that unreached people groups can hear the gospel and be transformed. The M Family, who we support, has spent the last decade in a closed country in Central Asia doing just that. We sat down with them to hear about how God has moved in a “minority language group” of 3000 unreached people. You won’t want to miss this incredible story of perseverance, faithfulness, and salvation.
